IFS - International Food Standard

 

 

The IFS (International Food Standard) concerns food companies that produce and supply products in chain food supermarkets, in order to ensure that they cover basic requirements for the safety of foods.

 

The IFS was developed and is supported by all the German and French food chains.

Each supplier that collaborates with German or French food chains is obliged to implement an IFS system.

The IFS standard is a combination of the requirements of a quality management system and a food safety management system (HACCP).
