| ISO 22000
ISO 22000 is an International Standard that determines the requirements of Food Safety Management System, covering all the breadth of enterprises that are involved in the food chain. Since there are a big number of individual Standards that are developed by the National Institutions of Standardisation and Liaisons (eg the United Kingdom has the BRC), ISO 22000 creates a single and homogenous platform of requirements, acceptable in all the states worldwide.
The objectives of the Standard will be the conformity with the Principles of the HACCP Code as well as the unification of various individual standards that are in effect until today.
