The BRC, (TECHNICAL STANDARD AND PROTOCOL FOR COMPANIES SUPPLYING RETAILER BRANDED FOOD PRODUCTS) is a standard that is mainly implemented by food companies that sell their products in Great Britain and are obliged by the British food chains to document the satisfaction of the requirements for the safety and the quality of their products.

 

The BRC standard is a combination of the requirements of a quality management system and a food safety management system (HACCP).
